Back in 2014, a reported stated that Google was working on ‘Google Workshop’ that will allow one to create custom cases for the Nexus 5. That plan from Google never capitalised, but last year, the company did collaborate with Skillrex to release some special edition cases for select Android phones.

Two years later, Google today released Live Cases on the Google Store that allows one to customise the case for their phone according to their liking.

You can print anything on the case that you want, which includes either a location or a photo uploaded by you. You can also select different types of patterns or designs that will be applied on your image and a bunch of colors. You can even select whether you want your polycarbonate case to have a matte or glossy finish.

Every case that you design will also come with a matching live wallpaper to complement the design of your case.

Live cases are available for purchase through the Google Store for the Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P and the Nexus 6, with prices starting from $35.
