Google has finally released the Android 5.0 factory images for its previous generation of Nexus devices. The company has also started rolling out the OTAs in a phased manner across the globe.

The Android 5.0 factory images and the OTA updatefor the Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2012, 2013) and Nexus 10 carry the build number LRX21P. Sadly, there is some bad news for the owners of the 3G/LTE variant of the Nexus 7 (2012/13) and Nexus 4 as Google has not released the factory images for these devices. However, it should not be long before the company uploads their factory images on its website as well.

The company has also uploaded all the relevant binaries for these devices on its website, which allows developers to start compiling fully working custom ROMs for them.
