Five years ago on this day, Google rebranded the Android Market and launched Google Play — its one-stop hub for all your digital needs like books, movies, apps, games, and more.

In its celebration post, Google notes that Google Play now has more than 1 billion active users from over 190 countries. It also houses over 40 million songs and 5 million books, though it did not provide any figures for the number of apps and games that the Play Store hosts.

To celebrate the occasion, Google revealed the top 5 apps, books, movies, songs, albums, and more on the Play Store in the United States since its launch.
