Google has updated the Play Store to version 8.0, which brings one crucial cosmetic tweak on board. With this update, users will be able to find the changelog of a particular app right on the update screen, letting them know of any small or major changes made to the app right there.

This will basically save you the trouble of manually going to every app and finding the changelog. This new feature isn’t without its caveats, however. The update page only shows part of the changelog, which means you will still have to head over to the app listing to check what’s new with the update. Perhaps Google can change this with subsequent updates.

The update isn’t rolling out to everyone right now, but users can manually push the APK file onto their devices to check out this new feature. We’re not aware of any other major changes that come with the new Play Store, although we’re sure to find out in due time.

It is possible that the update might take some time to reach all devices. So be sure to grab the APK file below.
