Google is going to hold their annual I/O event next month where it’s widely believed they’ll unveil the next version of Android, a successor to the Nexus 7, and an updated Google Play Store.

Considering how hard Google is trying to get into the content business, it’s no surprise then that they want to make it easier to buy movies and music from the same place that most people normally associate with just applications.

An image of the redesigned Play Store accidentally got shared to Google+ by a YouTube employee who I’m not going to name because she’s probably in a lot of trouble right now. Android Police got their hands on the image before it was taken down.

There’s not much to say about it really. It’s clean, it’s simple, and it doesn’t try to get in your way, which is a huge improvement compared to the overly visual Play Store as it stands today. I personally don’t even like browsing the Play Store because it’s just too heavy.
