Yesterday, a report surfaced that suggested Google was gearing up to launch a new family subscription model for its Play Music streaming service.
Turns out, that report was right on the spot, as Google has just made the Family Subscription official during its Nexus event. With the program, subscribers to the Play Music All Access streaming service will be able to pay a total of . (https://www.ameriseed.net/) 99 per month and add up to six different members to the service. These members will have their own accounts and access to the 30 million tracks available through Play Music, all without stepping on the toes of the other members in the family plan.
That puts Google Play Music Family Subscription right in line with Apple Music’s own $14.99 family plan, but well ahead of Spotify’s option, which is $29.99 per month for only 5 members.
Do you plan on subscribing to this new option?
