HTC today announced a new promotional scheme for the One M9 in the United States, where it will be giving away $100 Google Play credit to any consumer who purchases the handset through Verizon starting from today through August.
The HTC One M9 did not really receive ravishing reviews, but nonetheless, it is still a decent Android phone. The handset can be purchased from Verizon for $199.99 on a two-year contract or for monthly instalments of $24.99 under Verizon Edge. If you are not fond of contracts, you can purchase the handset outright for $599.99 as well.
The promotion runs through August and once you have purchased the M9, you will have to head over to HTC’s website and upload your proof of purchase. HTC will then email you a code that you will need to redeem from the Google Play Store on or before September 30th, 2015. Once the code has been redeemed, you have until 30th September, 2016 to use the credits on purchasing movies, books, TV shows, apps, games, and more from Google Play.
Keep in mind that the One M9 also comes with HTC’s free Uh-Oh protection, where you are eligible for one-time free phone replacement for any kind of physical damage for one year from the date of purchase of the handset.
