In just a few hours from now, Google will be unveiling the Pixel and Pixel XL handsets along with a bunch of other devices. However, that has not stopped the handset from leaking. This time around, @evleaks has posted press renders of the blue Pixel and Pixel XL that will be making their way to Verizon.
While we have heard rumors about Google also releasing a blue shade of its Pixel smartphones, this is the first time around that we have seen how the device looks like in press renders. And in typical fashion, the blue Pixel and Pixel XL have a two-tone white and blue finish, with the rear being blue in color and the front being completely white. Google has previously used this two-tone finish in its previous Nexus devices (remember the white Nexus 5?), but this effect does not look particularly good on the Pixel.

From what it looks like, Google will be exclusively offering the blue Pixel and Pixel XL on Verizon’s network at least for the first few months since the phone’s launch in the United States.
Scheduled to be unveiled on October 4th, the Pixel and Pixel XL will be made by HTC sans their branding. The handsets will be powered by a Snapdragon 821 chipset, 4GB RAM, and will be available in 32GB and 128GB storage variants. The handsets will also feature a 12MP IMX378 sensor at their rear with OIS and laserAF.
What do you think about the Pixel and Pixel XL in blue?
