Beside unveiling two new Nexus handsets and the second generation Chromecast, Google also plans to unveil the Google Pixel C. Unlike the first Pixel though which was a laptop and ran Chrome OS, the Pixel C is a tablet that runs on Android.

The tablet will feature a 10.2-inch display with a pixel density of 308ppi. It will be powered by a Nvidia Tegra X1 quad-core CPU, a Maxwell GPU, and feature 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

The Pixel C will feature a design language that is similar to the original Pixel, and will look like a laptop even though it does not feature a keyboard. The tablet will also feature a metal body or chassis and a gorgeous screen. It will also feature a lightbar on its back to show the amount of remaining battery life. Lastly, the tablet will feature a USB Type-C port, and run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Google also plans on offering two keyboard accessories for the tablet, with one made from aluminium and another one from leather.

Despite being a tablet, Google will not be calling the Pixel C a Nexus device. It will also not feature the name or logo of its manufacturer anywhere on its body. This is an out an out Pixel branded tablet, which the company is targeting at a new type of audience.

The Pixel C will go on sale sometime in November, though it will likely be announced by the company tomorrow. Oh, and if you have not already guessed it, don’t expect the Pixel C to be cheap.
