Why trust Greenbot
After being completely mum about its existence since its announcement in September earlier this year, Google has finally put its premium Pixel C tablet available for sale through the Google Store.
The tablet features a design that is reminiscent of the Pixel Chromebook, but under the hood it packs less laptop-y internals and more tablet-y internals. This includes a 10.2-inch LTPS display with a 2560 x 1800 resolution and 1500:1 contrast ratio, a Nvidia Tegra X1 chip with Maxwell GPU, 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 32/64GB of storage space.

The 7mm thin tablet features an anodised aluminium body, an 8MP rear shooter, 2MP front camera, stereo speakers, and a 34.2Wh battery that is enough to power the Pixel C for around 10 hours. Other notable specs of the tablet include dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac MIMO support, Bluetooth 4.1 + HS, USB Type-C connector, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Pixel C runs on the latest version of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and offers features like App Standby, Doze and Now on Tap.
The Pixel C is now available for purchase through the Google Store in the U.S. for $499. The Magnetic and Folio keyboards that turns the tablet into a portable laptop are also available for purchase through the Google Store for $149.
