The Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL are yet to be officially unveiled by Google. And yet, detailed hands-on videos of these phones have made their way to the internet.

The videos are from YouTubers in Vietnam where Google has moved the Pixel production from China. The detailed video shows almost everything about the Pixel 4 XL and confirms that it will indeed come with a 90Hz display which Google is going to call “Smooth Display.” The feature can also be turned off so as to save battery life which will come in handy if you want to extend the battery life of your Pixel 4.

The video also confirms that Google will be using the Soli hardware at the front of the Pixel 4 series for ‘Ambient EQ’ which will automatically adjust the display’s color tone based on the surrounding light level. Google is also going all-in with face unlock on the Pixel 4 series and skip the fingerprint scanner. The variant in the leak ships with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage.

The videos also give us a clear look at the new camera app that will be a part of the Pixel 4 series. The new app looks sleeker and more organized, though it was not functioning properly. It also confirms that the second camera on the Pixel 4 series will be a telephoto one and not an ultra-wide angle one which is all the rage these days.

The two hands-on videos pretty much reveal everything about the Pixel 4 series from a hardware viewpoint. Google is rumored to announce the Pixel 4 series on October 15 and until then, I expect the phones to show up in more detailed leaks like this.
