The Pixel 3 XL has already leaked in plenty of photos and videos. However, today’s leak easily takes the cake as they are not blurry photos of the device that we have seen previously. Instead, we get to see the Pixel 3 XL in some high-quality photos that give us a clear look at its front and rear.
Even better, there are also camera samples from the device which show off just what the Pixel 3 XL’s rear camera can do.
The photos give us a clear look at the XL size notch of the handset which is unlikely to go down well with most users. Apart from the notched display up front, the design of the handset looks largely the same as the Pixel 2 XL. Google seems to have only made a few tweaks here and there. The rear of the handset is made from glass, though it is not evident in the photos. This is because the Pixel 3 XL will feature wireless charging which kind of necessitates the use of a glass back.
The Pixel 3 XL is unlikely to win any awards in the design department, with that XL notch likely going to turn off many prospective buyers. However, if the camera samples are anything to go by, the Pixel 3 XL is once again going to set a new benchmark in terms of camera imaging performance.
Another set of photos of the Pixel 3 XL confirm that it will come with a Snapdragon 845 chipset, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
The leaked images come courtesy of Russian blog Rozetked which has seemingly managed to get its hands on a final retail unit of the device complete with its retail package. As per the blog, a shipment of the final retail units of the Pixel 3 XL got lost and the unit in pictures was acquired from this shipment.
Given that an entire lot of Pixel 3 XL units have been misplaced, it is likely that we will see more photos of the device leak over the coming few days and weeks.
Update: A video of the Pixel 3 XL being unboxed has now also been posted online.
