Google Photos search experience

After YouTube picked up better recommendations, it looks like Google Photos is next in line to add some noteworthy features in its latest update.

Via Google Plus, the Google Photos team has announced a brand new version of Google Photos, bumping up the version number up to 1.19. With it, the app now offers a brand new, and improved search experience, thanks to a dedicated search bar at the top of the screen. Just do a search for what you want to see and find, and Google Photos will handle the rest by what’s available in your library.

The update will also let you customize the movies the the app creates automatically, whether that’s by adding music, more photos, or even other videos to the mix.

You’ll also be able to rename or delete device folders, too. The update is available for Android now.
