Apart from announcing Android M, offline turn-by-turn directions in Google Maps, Android Pay and more, Google also announced a nanodegree in Android development at I/O 2015 today.

The company has partnered with Udacity for this degree, with the subject matter and curriculum being on the same level as expected by professional Android developers.

The nanodegree takes 6-9 months to complete and costs $200 per month. The crash course will include everything about Android development, including the basics of development to Google Play services and more.

Once the course is completed, students will receive a joint certificate from Udacity and Google.
