Every year, Google hosts its big developer conference, where it typically unveils new features for its major platforms and devices.
Google I/O is one of the events to look forward to every year, and now we know when to circle the calendar for this year’s shindig. As revealed today by The Verge, Google I/O 2018 will take place on May 8 and run until May 10. During those days, we are likely to see updates for Android, Daydream, Google Assistant, Photos, Android Wear, Google Maps, and much more.
Like last year, Google launched a puzzle to give folks out in the wild the opportunity to discern when the event was going to take place before Google made any official announcements. According to the original report, it took one hundred individuals working with Google Maps to uncover a variety of clues –including a pineapple cake– that would eventually lead to the official dates.
The event will take place in Mountain View, California on the aforementioned dates.
What are you hoping Google announces this year?
