At the tail-end of August, a few different Nexus-branded devices, including the Nexus 6P and the Nexus 5X, began receiving their over-the-air (OTA) update to Android 7.0 Nougat.
But there are still some missing Nexus devices to the list. With so many Nexus 6 owners out there in the wild, it’s probably good to hear that Google still has plans to update those handsets. Specifically, Google has confirmed that the Nexus 6, and the Nexus 9 LTE, will be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat “in the coming weeks.” Unfortunately there isn’t an exact date to circle on the calendar just yet, but at this point it’s better than nothing. Have you already been using Android 7.0 on your Nexus device, or are you one of the ones waiting?
