Google has announced a nice new Maps update that brings its navigation lane guidance feature to 15 new countries throughout Europe. The feature, which made its debut last May, is now available in 23 countries in total.

The 15 countries that now have access to lane guidance include Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, and Switzerland.

Part of Google Maps’ turn-by-turn navigation feature, lane guidance helps when you approach a junction with multiple lanes — voice guidance provides step-by-step directions to ensure you select the right lane for your route.

If you live in a supported market, lane guidance should now be available immediately inside of Google Maps for Android and other platforms.
