Today, Google has officially detailed not only the launch availability for the Crimson and Snow Daydream View VR headsets, but also new content to enjoy on them.
Google has posted a public blog post detailing availability for all three of its Daydream View virtual reality headsets, including the limited edition Snow and Crimson options, which went up for pre-order earlier this month.
Here’s where you can expect to find all three headsets:
- United States: Google Store, Verizon; Coming soon to Best Buy
- United Kingdom: Google Store; Coming soon to EE, Carphone Warehouse
- Australia: Google Store
On top of that, Google has also confirmed that there is quite a bit of new content heading to the Daydream VR platform, from a variety of entertainment apps and games. That includes HBO, Netflix, and popular racing title Need for Speed.
Here are the new additions:
- LEGO BrickHeadz Builder VR
- HBO Now and HBO GO
- Gunjack 2: End of Shift
- NextVR
- Layers of Fear: Solitude
- Wands
- Underworld Overlord
- Netflix
- Need for Speed: No Limits VR
Plenty of content and games, with the library planned to keep expanding from here on out.
