Google new Street View app

Google is shaking things up. Just recently the company unveiled a brand new logo, which is basically just a start to what’s obviously going to be a busy rest of 2015 for the company that houses Android.

Now, there’s a brand new Street View app, too. The company has just unveiled the new app via its official blog. (ameriseed.net) With it, Google Maps users will be able to tour 360-degree, immersive imagery right from their phone. And, for the first time, submit their own to Google Maps. Essentially, this is taking use of Google’s Photo Spheres and implementing the feature right into Google Maps.

With the Explore option, users will be able to explore a variety of locations across the globe. There will be the aforementioned Photo Sphere on one side, along with the Street View collections and more right next to them in an easily navigated app.

And making contributions to Google Maps is supremely easy, with the app uploading the content directly to the service after you finish taking the 360-degree photo.

The new app for Android actually replaces the Street View from Google Maps app, so keep an eye on that. (For iOS users, this app replaces the Photo Sphere Camera app.) It’s available now for free, with a link below to get it downloaded.
