In 2016, Google hosted its developer conference at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California, and has done so every year since.
The company will be sticking to that routine this year. Google launched a puzzle earlier today that was meant gamify the reveal of the Google I/O 2019 event dates. It did not take long before the details were discovered, however. As a result, we know that Google I/O 2019 will be held at the Amphitheatre in Mountain View again, and it will take place between May 7 and May 9.
At the time of publication there are still some details missing, but the event date is basically the most important part anyway. It is likely that Google will be giving out tickets to those who actually go through the whole process of solving the puzzle as well. That is a nice prize for a game of this sort.
At this year’s Google I/O event we are going to hear about what Google has been working on over the last year. That will include major updates to Google Assistant, which has quickly become one of the company’s most important features. We will also hear the first details of Android Q — some of which has already surfaced well in advance. There will be a lot more to go over between May 7 and May 9, so stay tuned.
