Remember the Pixel C? The Marshmallow running tablet that is powered by Nvidia’s Tegra X1 chip was supposed to go on sale in November, but that did not happen. In fact, after its unveiling in late-September, Google has never spoken about the device even once. This led many to believe that the company scrapped its plans on launching the tablet.
As it turns out, Google still plans on launching the Pixel C, though its launch is just taking a little bit longer than expected. Replying to a tweet from YouTuber @MKBHD, Hiroshi Lockheimer, the SVP of Android and Chrome OS at Google, posted a pic of the tablet beside a laptop sitting in a tray and said that he will be “testing it for y’all on the flight.”
@MKBHD TSA approves! Will be testing it for y'all on the flight. pic.twitter.com/OaDo08Aq6S

While Lockheimer did not provide a launch timeframe for the tablet, it is at least reassuring to know that Google has not forgotten about it. With Lockheimer testing the Pixel C, I am guessing the tablet is in its final stages of testing and should be released right before the holiday season starts.
Will you be buying the Pixel C whenever Google decides to launch it?
