Everything is eventual, right? When it comes to Google’s Project Glass, which we now know and love as Google Glass, it looks like the overseas roll-out has begun. But, very slowly. Google has officially announced today that their open beta Explorer program has just expanded to a new area. Plus, if you happen to be in London in late June and want to try out Glass, Google’s got you covered in that department, too.
As you can probably imagine, one of the most common questions Google has received is all about Glass, and when people should expect its availability to expand beyond the United States. For those in the United Kingdom, the wait is finally over. Google has officially announced via their Google+ page that Google Glass is now available in the UK through their open beta Explorer program. That means you can spend the £1,000.00 to get one for yourself if you’re so inclined. (Finally!)
What’s more, Google is hosting a small, two day event for anyone who wants to demo Glass before they decide to pull the trigger on a purchase. It’s taking place between June 27 and June 28, and signing up is just a click away.
Now that Google Glass is available in the UK, it shouldn’t be too much longer of a wait for it to arrive in other countries around the world. Are you looking forward to getting your hands on Glass?
