Remember that super scary sounding Android security bug from last week? It’s been fixed. According to ZD|Net, Google has already sent the patched code to their partners. Samsung, the only one that really matters considering how many Android phones they ship, has already fixed the issue, though they’re not exactly saying when they did that.

In short, should you worry? If you’re a good little boy or girl who doesn’t side-load applications, then you shouldn’t even be reading this article. If on the other hand you grab applications from torrent sites or whatever other shady place on the internet, then you deserve what’s coming to you.
