Google today announced that it is expanding its Android for Work program to include 40 new companies, including new OEMs, application markers and management providers.

This is also the first time that the program has expanded to include carriers like Sprint, Verizon, Bell, AT&T, Telus, T-Mobile and others. Some of the new device OEMs that have joined the program today include Dell, HTC, Sony, LG, ZTE, Huawei and Lenovo.

Google says in its announcement that since it launched Android for Work in February this year, more than 10,000 businesses have been using it worldwide, including the U.S. Army and Guardian Life Insurance Company. The company also highlights in its announcement devices like the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Silent Circle’s Blackphone 2 for offering enhanced privacy and security features and meeting the very highest levels of government certification.
