The Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL launched to the public last week, but it looks like not all orders are going to be immediately fulfilled.

As first noted by Android Police, several people have taken to Reddit to express their concerns that their order of the Clearly White Pixel 2 has been delayed up to a month. These are the folks who already put their order in, and, up to this moment, were originally supposed to receive their smartphone sometime this week.

Now that Google has delayed some of those orders by upwards of 30 days, Google is hoping to relieve the pressure a bit by offering a free Live Case for those who were impacted by the delay. The Live Case typically retails for $40. If you were already planning on picking up a Live Case, that might be a worthwhile gift.

Stock for the Pixel 2 is a little all over the place, with some units completely out of stock, and others still hit with a three- to four-week shipping delay after the order is put in.

It is worth noting that this not impacting every single Clearly White Pixel 2 order, and some are already being sent out as expected. However, for those who were impacted by the delay, it looks like the 30-day delay might not impact everyone, and orders could be sent out sooner than that.

If you ordered your Clearly White Pixel 2, were you notified of any kind of delay? Or is your unit still on track to arrive soon?
