The Chromecast is already pretty cheap, but for anyone that hasn’t yet pulled the trigger on a purchase Google is trying to sweeten the deal.
Right now, Google is running a limited-time promotion for a bunch of free content for anyone who picks up a Chromecast from the company’s new online store. The offers in the United States include 30 days of access to Qell HD concerts, three months of Sesame Street Go, a three-month subscription to Google Play Music, a free movie rental from the Play Store, and three months of access to DramaFever — a network that shows Korean content with English subtitles.
In the United Kingdom, though, the promotions are slightly different. They include the same three-month subscription to Google Play Music and the free movie rental, as well as the same 30-days of Qello HD, but also include a three-month Entertainment pass to NOW TV. In Ireland, buyers will get a three-month subscription to Google Play Music.
Considering the three months of Google Play Music would normally cost a user $30, that alone is perhaps worth the cost of picking up the streaming stick. Do you plan on taking advantage of the deal?
