In addition to acknowledging the display issues on the Pixel 2 XL, Google has now also acknowledged two other issues with the second-generation Pixel handsets which it aims to fix with a future software update.

Firstly, many Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL owners have been reporting about poor sound quality while recording videos with the handset. The audio recorded while shooting a video on the new Pixels have poor sound quality and totally useless. The problem does not seem to affect all Pixel 2 units out there so the exact cause behind the issue is not known.

Nonetheless, a Google representative has acknowledged the issue and confirmed that a fix for the problem should be rolled out in the coming weeks.

Secondly, Google has also acknowledged the hissing issue affecting the smaller Pixel. Many Pixel 2 owners are reporting that there is a hissing noise coming from their Pixel 2 while they are on a call. The issue is related to the NFC antenna on the device and Google says that it will be fixed with a future software update.

While most phones do launch with some teething issues which are usually fixed with a software update soon after launch, the number of problems on the second-generation Pixels seem to be on the higher end.
