The Moto 360 has been available for awhile now, in several variants, but the gold option has shied away from the limelight since the wearable’s launch earlier in 2014. That ends now.
While Motorola has officially launched the Nexus 6 on its site for pre-order, they have also taken the wraps off the gold-tinted Moto 360. It is similar to the 18mm option in silver, but with the gold tint instead. It still offers the 18mm metal band, giving it a more premium look to some owners. The metal bands for the Moto 360 were first announced in early September of 2014.
The pricing starts at $329, which makes it slightly more expensive than the $299.99 silver option. Both metal watches are listed as “coming soon.”
On top of that, Motorola has also announced that there are new watch bands for the Moto 360, including accessories from DODOcase and TYLT. The Moto 360 now also boasts new wellness features within Moto Body, an experience built around having a healthier lifestyle.
“Moto 360 can help you make the most of every day. That’s why we’re bringing you Moto Body, an experience designed to inspire a healthier lifestyle. You can track your steps, distance, heart rate and calories. Based on the information collected, Moto Body will provide new goals to keep you motivated. Moto Body will be available to all Moto 360 users through the Motorola Connect app update.“
