If you know what a Samsung Galaxy S III looks like, then you’ll know what the Galaxy Win looks like. Yes, “Galaxy Win” is indeed a real product name, at least if you believe the rumors coming out of Vietnam are true. The site Mainguyen.vn says this as yet to be announced phone has a 4.7 inch 800 x 480 pixel display, 5 megapixel camera, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 200 processor.
Not really familiar with the Snapdragon 200? Me neither, so I hit up Google. It’s apparently a quad core ARM Cortex A5 part with an Adreno 203 GPU. How fast is an ARM Cortex A5? According to ITProPortal, who had a chance to benchmark one, it’s faster than the ARM Cortex A8 found in the Galaxy S II, but slower than the ARM Cortex A9 found in the Galaxy S III. That actually sounds really promising, but man, WVGA on a 4.7 inch screen sounds brutal.
As for when this thing will be officially announced, no clue. Same deal on price.
