Why trust Greenbot
When Google unveiled the 2013 Nexus 7 to the world, they demoed its ability to allow multiple accounts on the tablet. In other words, you could buy a Nexus 7, put it on the coffee table, and you, your partner, and your child could each have their own account on the tablet in much the same way that family computers have let you since the days of Windows XP.
Seeing as how tablets are more personal than personal computers (see what I did there?), the multi-user feature didn’t really get a ton of attention, and you’ll be hard pressed to find anyone who actually cares when you can just spend $229 and buy little Johnny his own Nexus 7.
But Samsung being Samsung, they want to give the people features, whether or not they’ll actually use them. And according to SamMobile, the 8.0 inch and 10.1 inch versions of Samsung’s third generation Galaxy Tab tablets will soon be receiving a software update that allows this functionality.
I only have one question: What about the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 inch model? One would think that the cheapest of the three Tabs would be the most popular model in countries where cost is an incredibly sensitive issue. Then again, if you’re in a country where every dollar is super important, you’re probably buying an off-brand Chinese tablet anyway.
