Galaxy S7 passes through TENAA

Samsung is known to remove its logo from its devices in Japan due to its perceived market image and low market share in the country. However, with the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, the company will be removing its logo from the handsets in China and South Korea as well.

The images of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge passing through Chinese certification authority TENNA also confirm that the handsets will not sport a logo in the front in the Chinese market.

Considering that South Korea is Samsung’s home market, this does seem like an odd decision from the company. Now, unlike Japan though, a Samsung logo will still be present at the back of the device to make sure that consumers don’t forget the OEM of their beautiful phone.

It is still unclear as to why Samsung decided to remove its logo from the front of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge in China and South Korea, though I must say that without the logo, the company’s latest flagship devices will look a lot more attractive, especially in black. Whatever the case might be though, I hope Samsung adopts this same strategy on its devices in other markets as well.

What do you think? Does the Galaxy S7 without a front logo looks more sexy to you as well? (https://bobbergdesigns.com/)
