Samsung has started rolling out a launch day software update for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge to fix some bugs and improve the fingerprint sensor performance of the handset

The firmware update weighs in at 252.94MB and includes “many stability, performance improvements.” The update also bumps the Android version to 5.0.2 and carries the build number DVU1AOD1.

    Some of the changes highlighted by Samsung in this update include an improved fingerprint recognition process, enhanced interface for some of Samsung’s pre-loaded apps like Music, Email and S Planner, new features in the default Photo Editing app and improved compatibility with accessories.
