Galaxy S5 Neo Import

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo SM-G750 has been making the rounds in the rumor mill for quite some time now. But today, the smartphone has been partially confirmed as it has made its way to India according to import database Zauba. It was previously believed that the Galaxy S5 Neo was the SM-G800, but that was later revealed to be the Galaxy S5 Mini.

The smartphone is believed to sport a 5.1 inch display, so it’s clear that it won’t be any different from the Galaxy S5 in terms of size. Previous leaks have suggested that the display resolution could be down to 720p instead of 1080p, which reveals that the handset will be priced moderately.

There’s not much information available from this import listing apart from the display size, but we could have more word coming through from subsequent leaks. The smartphone is expected to pack a 2.3 GHz quad core processor (possibly Snapdragon 800) but don’t be surprised if Samsung goes with the Exynos 5260 hexa-core chipset much like it did with the Galaxy Note 3 Neo. Considering that the smartphone is already being sent to other countries for testing, the launch of the Galaxy S5 Neo shouldn’t be far away.
