In a couple of months from now, we will see Samsung unveil its latest and greatest flagship — the Galaxy S5. In the meantime, we are going to see a lot of rumored specs, leaks and predictions from analysts about the device fuelling in the hype train before Samsung finally unveils it.
Today’s prediction comes from KGI Research which predicts that the Galaxy S5 is going to come in two versions –one with a Snapdragon MSM8974AC processor and the other one with an 8-core Exynos processor. Other specs of the handsets will remain the same between variants and include 2GB of RAM, 16MP camera, a 5.2-inch Super-AMOLED display with 565PPI, a plastic body and a fingerprint sensor.
There will also be a ‘Prime’ version for Korea with 3GB of RAM but other specs of the device will remain the same.
The inclusion of a finger print sensor should not really come as a surprise ever since Apple released the iPhone 5s with a TouchID sensor. Hopefully, Samsung will also nail how the fingerprint scanner works unlike what HTC did with the sensor in the One Max. On the software front, we should see a completely new skin from Samsung as a few leaked screenshots from @evleaks suggest.
