Ahead of the Galaxy Note 8 launch next week, the folks over at iFixit have posted their teardown of the handset. The teardown shows the device having similar internals as the Galaxy S8 albeit with a smaller battery and a slot for the S Pen. Xiaomi will be unveiling the Mi Mix 2 at an event on September 11. At the same event, the company is expected to unveil the Mi Note 3 as well. This was confirmed by Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun so this confirmation is as good as any.

The Mi Note 3 will house a Snapdragon 835 chip, 4GB RAM, and a dual-camera setup at the rear.
