At the beginning of this month, an early work-in-progress Android 4.3 based firmware for the Galaxy Note 2 had leaked online. Today, the folks over at SamMobile have once again managed to get their hands on another Android 4.3 based firmware, which is much more stable and bug-free compared to the previous leak.
It is widely expected that Samsung will be updating the Galaxy Note 2 and S3 to Android 4.3 by the end of November, so this leak should not come as a surprise. Internally, Samsung has been rolling out new Android 4.3 based firmware for the Note 2 nearly every other day to squash bugs and improve performance.
With the Android 4.3 update, Samsung will be updating the Note 2’s UI to a version of TouhWIZ that is currently seen running on the Galaxy S4 and Note 3. Other changes include improved text rendering, OpenGL ES 3.0 support, KNOX support, and inclusion of Samsung Wallet.
If you cannot wait for the official roll-out from Samsung to begin, head over to this XDA thread for the download link and instructions.
