Galaxy Note 10

The Galaxy Note 10 series recently went on sale in over 80+ markets across the world. The new Notes run on One UI 1.5 and pack a lot of useful features and customization options. Among other things, the new Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ also pack the ability to record calls —  a feature that’s surprisingly missing in many other smartphones.

Google does not natively support call recording in Android 9.0 Pie so it becomes even more important that the OEM adds support for the feature to their device.

The Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ do come with call recording but there’s a catch here: the feature is only available in selected regions of the world. To adhere with the local laws in some regions, Samsung automatically disables the call recording feature from the Galaxy Note 10 series.

How to Record Calls on Samsung Galaxy Note 10

Step 1: Recieve or make a call on your Galaxy Note 10 or Note 10+.

Step 2: Tap the 3-dot overflow menu button on the top-right corner of the call screen and press the Record button.

If you are using the call recording function for the first time, you will be prompted to accept the terms and conditions.

Automatically Record All Calls

You can also automatically record all incoming or outgoing calls on your Galaxy Note 10 series. Simply set up the automatic call recorder for it.

Step 1: From the Phone app on the Galaxy Note 10, tap the 3-dot overflow menu button on the top-right corner and go to Settings.

Step 2: Go inside the Record Calls option and enable the Auto record calls option.

Step 3: You will find the option to record calls from selected numbers, unsaved numbers, or all numbers as well. Make a selection depending on your preference.

All recorded calls are saved in the Call folder of your Note 10’s internal storage.

As I mentioned above, the call recording feature on the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ is not available in all regions of the world. If the local laws prohibit call recording, the feature won’t show up on your device.
