A Samsung device with the model number SM-G750 has been making brief appearances in leaks. The device which was initially believed to be a variant of the Galaxy S5 has now been mentioned to be the Galaxy Mega 2, a successor to last year’s budget phablet.

Another report claims that the smartphone carries a 6 inch 720p display, which is highly indicative of what’s to come. The Galaxy Mega was launched in a 5.8 inch and 6.3 inch variants last year, so it will be interesting to see if this will be the solitary Galaxy Mega smartphone this year.

The handset has made its way to India for testing as revealed by Zauba, so the smartphone’s existence is pretty much confirmed. The leak comes at the right time as the Galaxy Mega 6.3 was launched in June last year, so it’s fair to assume that the successor would break cover a year later or probably sooner.

We don’t have additional info on the specifications at the moment, but reports are indicating that this particular variant could be headed towards AT&T when it is announced. Global customers have nothing to worry about though as Samsung will obviously have an international variant too.
