Samsung took its own time but it has finally rolled out the One UI update for the Galaxy M20, Galaxy M30, and Galaxy M10 smartphones. It also launched the Galaxy M40 recently running Android 9.0 Pie and One UI out of the box. Apart from packing a lot of customization options, One UI also packs some basic and useful features including the ability to record calls.

While a relatively simple feature, call recording is a feature that is surprisingly missing from many Android smartphones. Thankfully, Samsung includes the call recording option on its Galaxy M10, M20, M30, and M40 devices. Wondering how to record calls on these smartphones? Follow the steps below.

How to Record Calls on Galaxy M10, M20, M30, and M40

Step 1: You will first have to make or receive a call on your Galaxy M10, M20, M30, or M40.

Step 2: On the call screen, tap the 3-dot overflow menu button on the top-right corner and press the Record button.

If you are using the call record option for the first time, you will have to accept the terms and conditions of the feature first.

How to Automatically Record Calls

Step 1: In the Phone app on your Galaxy M10, M20, M30, and M40, tap the 3-dot overflow menu button on the top-right and go to Settings.

Step 2: Under the Record Calls option, enable Auto record calls.

Step 3: Inside Auto Record calls, you will find the option to record calls from either all callers, selected callers or just unsaved numbers.

All calls recorded on your Galaxy M10, M20, M30, and M40 phone will be saved inside the ‘Call’ folder in internal storage.

Remember that in certain parts of the world, the call recording feature on the Galaxy M series might not be available due to regional laws.
