According to a new revelation by Samsung Germany, the recently announced Galaxy K Zoom will cost 519 Euros in the region during launch. This comes down to $720, which means that it won’t go easy on the buyers’ wallets, not initially at least.
This camera+smartphone hybrid packs a 4.8 inch 720p Super AMOLED display, a 20.7-megapixel BSI camera sensor, 2GB of RAM, 8GB of storage with a microSD card slot and a 2,430 mAh battery. For the processing needs, Samsung has gone with its in-house Exynos 5260 hexa-core chipset which is the same as the one used on the Galaxy Note 3 Neo as well. There’s Android 4.4.2 KitKat running by default along with Samsung’s latest iteration of the TouchWiz UI.
Almost every software feature from the Galaxy S5 is available here, much to the joy of the customers. The design on the back of the Galaxy K Zoom is also reminiscent of the Galaxy S5 with its golf ball like pattern. While the pricing is clearly too high at the moment, we expect it to go down once it is made available in the rest of the global markets in the coming days.
