The Samsung Galaxy S5 is known for several built-in features like the heart rate monitor, the camera and the fingerprint scanner. What we didn’t know though was that the Korean manufacturer is also bundling a ton of goodies along with the device in a dedicated app known as ‘Galaxy Gifts’. This includes paid subscriptions to several sites, magazines and free credit to spend on popular games (in-app purchasing).
Samsung has done this for over two years now, so it’s no surprise that the tradition continues with their new flagship. This, of course, comes in addition to the free Google Drive and Dropbox storage that Samsung offers with the purchase of any new handset. (onecrazyhouse.com)
While freebies don’t necessarily influence a person’s decision to buy or not buy a device, they certainly make it a whole lot easier. So while the Galaxy S5 is already impressive as it is, this new promo makes it even more attractive for potential customers. Expect to learn more about the Galaxy Gifts program when the smartphone officially lands in global markets in mid-April. There is no word on region restrictions, so it’s safe to assume that the promotion will be available worldwide.
