Rumors have been floating around the Internet that Samsung is planning on unveiling not one, but two, variants of the Galaxy Gear 2 along with the Galaxy S5 at Barcelona in MWC next week. @evleaks just confirmed these rumors and even posted a low-quality blurry picture, giving the world its first glimpse as to what the two Galaxy Gear 2 variants will look like.
While rumors had suggested that the new Galaxy Gear will sport a new design, the leaked image suggests otherwise. Both variants of the smartwatch look similar to the current generation Gear, albeit with reduced bezel space and a front facing camera.
Surprisingly, there is also a miniature physical home button present on the front of the devices.

@evleaks tweet suggests that the devices are going to be called the Galaxy Gear 2 and Galaxy Gear 2 Neo — the latter branding being used by Samsung to launch cheaper variants of its high-end devices.
The cheaper ‘Neo’ variant is probably going to compete with low-cost smartwatches like the Pebble, thanks to its plastic body that should keep manufacturing costs down. On the other hand, the Gear 2 will be the successor to the original Gear and retain its metal body.
Update: @evleaks has just posted a high resolution picture of the devices.

Update 2: Oh well! It looks like the impeccable @evleaks has made a blooper. Apparently, the above images are not of a Galaxy branded smart watch.
I misspoke. Those watches are not Galaxy-branded.
