With the LG G3 currently being the most exciting Android smartphone in the market, it was only a matter of time before Samsung tried to one up its regional rival. And now, a press image of the company’s upcoming 2K display smartphone known as the Galaxy F has been leaked out by Evleaks, giving us a hint of what’s to come.
As we can see from the press render above, the smartphone appears to have the heart rate monitor under the camera just like the Galaxy S5, so we feel other features like the fingerprint scanner and the suite of software features will be present too.
The back cover appears to have a metallic finish like rumors in the past suggested, which could mean that Samsung has finally decided to go metal, at least with the Galaxy F. However, it’s very likely that this is only a metallic look and not actual metal, which is what LG did with the G3 as well.
There’s not much to know beyond this at the moment, but we’re hoping the announcement is just around the corner given that press photos are already making the rounds.
