Galaxy S5 Neo Zauba

Indian import site Zauba has uncovered a new Samsung smartphone, going by the model number SM-G800F. Considering that the Galaxy S5 goes by the G900 moniker, it’s safe to assume that the G800F is possibly a variant of the upcoming Samsung flagship.

The smartphone appears to have a cost of 31,790 INR ($522), suggesting that this might not be priced along the lines of other midrange devices. The G800F has reportedly made its way to India from South Korea for an “R&D Purpose”, which further reaffirms the existence of this handset. However, as we only have the model number of this smartphone at the moment, there’s no word on the hardware it will pack.

But considering that this will be a cheaper alternative to the Galaxy S5, it’s safe to assume that it will be of the same size but feature slightly under-powered internals. We expect more details to come our way on this semi-flagship in the coming days as Samsung gears up to announce the Galaxy S5 mini as well.
