For those waiting for traditional watch makers to really jump into the smartwatch bandwagon trail, Fossil has just unveiled its first attempt.
While smartwatches are pretty common entries in the tech market these days, some old-fashioned watch makers are still waiting to get their hands dirty. Fossil is gearing up to launch its own Android Wear-based smartwatch at some point in the near future, probably by this holiday season, and has shown off the device at this year’s Intel Developers Conference.
Unfortunately, any and all details regarding the upcoming wearable are missing — even the name of the thing. Intel, nor Fossil, were ready to talk about what’s inside, but they were more than happy to show off the smartwatch. And, let’s not beat around the bush: It looks like a Moto 360, including the “flat tire” at the bottom of the round display.
It will be interesting to see what this Fossil-branded smartwatch offers, including the materials it’s made from, so hopefully the company has something to announce soon.
What do you think of the looks?
