Samsung has just started rolling out the first software update for the Galaxy Note 4 that brings with it general improvements and enhancements to performance, stability and battery life of the device.

According to the folks over at SamMobile, the 36MB XXU1ANJ4 firmware update is mainly focused on improving the battery life of the device significantly. As of now, the update is only rolling out for the SM-N910F variant of the Note 4 — which is powered by a Snapdragon processor.

The Galaxy Note 4 is scheduled to go on sale in the United Kingdom, United States, India and other major markets of the world from October 17th, so it is nice to see Samsung rolling out an update before that to improve the overall usability experience of its latest and greatest phablet.
