Earlier today, Samsung announced that it will be holding an ‘Unpacked 5’ event at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 24th to unveil the Galaxy S5. Now, thanks to @eldarmurtazin, we now know the complete specs of the handset as well.
According to Eldar, the Galaxy S5 will come with a 5.24-inch Super AMOLED screen with an eye-popping resolution of 2560×1440. This is line with the rumors that we have been hearing since the last month or so. Other specs of the handset include 3GB of RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage and an Exynos 6 or Snapdragon 805 processor depending on the market.

On the camera front, the Galaxy S5 is going to come with a 3.2MP camera in the front and a 16MP snapper at the back. It is unclear at the moment whether the rear camera will be optically stabilised or not.
Eldar also suggests that the Galaxy S5 is going to come with a 3200mAh battery, which is of the same capacity as that on the Note 3. With the S5 packing in such a high-resolution screen, Samsung definitely needs to pack in a beefy battery to make sure the device lasts at least a day under heavy usage.
On the specs front, the Galaxy S5 is looking like a complete beast. However, it will be interesting to see if Samsung is going to release a radically different design for the phone with premium materials or continue with the same design language and plastic body.
