Facebook Messenger video calling

Today, April 27, Facebook has announced that it is bringing video calling, which is available on its desktop platform, to its mobile options.

Facebook Messenger will add video calling to its mobile app in its next update, Facebook has confirmed. The social networking giant has also confirmed that it will be cross-platform, so Android users can call their friends and family members that might own an iOS device, and vice versa. Facebook also confirmed that using the video calling feature will work over Wi-Fi or an LTE network.

The app update should be rolling out today, so those users with the stand-alone app already installed, keep an eye out. For those that don’t, though, a link to the app is available below.
