Facebook’s event came and went yesterday and a lot of you are probably shrugged your shoulders because all you saw was a new Android launcher and a mediocre phone. I urge you to have a look at this 14 minute video shot by Ellis Hamburger from The Verge before solidifying your opinion about what went down yesterday.

Facebook Home is actually quite pretty to look at, and it even has its own physics engine so things look all pretty when you’re swiping and tapping away. Now granted, Facebook Home is still not going to appeal to you if you don’t care about Facebook, but some of you do, especially if you’re in Asia or South America.

A lot more will be said about Facebook’s Android efforts next week when Home actually launches, and then the ensuing monthly software updates that were promised, but for now this video is the best demo I’ve seen on the internet.
