Little Eye Labs announced today that it is being acquired by Facebook. Based in India, the startup company released its first product, a mobile app analysis tool for Android, in April of last year. The company’s service let Android developers measure, analyze and optimize their app’s performance. Presumably, Facebook will be using this technology to optimize the performance of its own mobile apps. The team at Little Eye Labs will close up shop in India and move their operations to Facebook’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California.

Customers who are using Little Eye’s technology can continue to use the company’s products until June 30, 2014 for free. After that date, the service will no longer be available.
